Noah’s Ark Childrens Hospital Charity

Sponsered Walk for Noah’s Ark Childrens Hospital

We have now completed our Sponsored Walk.

Our pupils have walked a combined 185 miles over the week.

I would like to say a big thank you to all our parents & carers for their continued support of both the pupil’s and staff at Tai Education Centre. Can I ask that all monies be in by Thursday 4th December.

Many regards

Mrs M Chadney

Head of Centre

One of our wonderful pupils is currently battling Leukemia. We want to raise money for the amazing charity that is doing a fantastic job at caring for Tristan at the moment. The pupils and staff at Tai have decided to undertake a week long sponsored walk from the 23rd November – 27th November. Each person will walk a mile for each day that they are in Tai. Please sponsor us and help us reach our £500 target. Thank you very much.

World Diabetes Day

Dear Parents,

The NHS has asked for this message to be sent out to you as it is World Diabetes Day this weekend.
Undiagnosed Type 1 diabetes in children requires urgent medical attention.
If your child has ANY of the main symptoms of Type 1 diabetes please make an urgent GP appointment or contact the Out of Hours service. The main symptoms are known as the
4 T’s – Thirst, Toilet, Tiredness, Thinner. If you notice your child is thirsty or using the toilet more frequently, is always feeling tired, or has lost weight recently, seek immediate medical advice.
NHS services are very well equipped to look after children safely if they are unwell. Please do not delay seeking medical advice because of Covid-19.
